Our Story

A family firm, three generations in the making.

MK Electrical was founded in Fulham in 1994 by Mario — a master electrician who built the firm on a simple principle: do the work properly, look after the customer, and the rest takes care of itself.

In 2010 the business passed to his son Martin, who now runs it alongside his wife Laura as joint Directors. Today the firm serves homeowners, landlords, businesses and schools across most of London — over 5,000 customers and counting, with a perfect 10/10 Checkatrade score from 221 verified reviews.

Our aim is straightforward: to provide the level of service we would expect ourselves. Transparent pricing, clear communication, and work we'd happily put our name to.

We test 50% per circuit. Most don't.

An EICR is only as good as the testing behind it. Industry standard is to test just 15–20% of each circuit — enough to tick the box, rarely enough to find a fault.

We test 50% per circuit on every Electrical Installation Condition Report. It takes longer. It costs us more. It's also the reason our certificates mean something — and the reason our clients keep coming back.
